Hazem El-Sherif
Chairman
Chairman and Founder of Al-Borouj Misr, established in 2015 and headquartered in Cairo, Egypt. He has extensive expertise in the Construction and Real Estate Development sector. With a proven track record spanning over 25 years, he has amassed vast experience and knowledge in both the local and Middle East markets. He also hold the position of Chairman at EDGE Holding, and has Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
Mohamed Al-Assy
Vice President
With a solid track record of 15 years as a Civil Engineer in the GCC area, including Qatar and Kuwait, this professional has garnered extensive expertise in project planning, project management, and warehousing. Throughout his career, he has consistently showcased progressive growth, development, and improvement by effectively applying his acquired knowledge in practical settings. Currently serving as the Vice Chairman of Al-Borouj Misr since January 2017, he has contributed significantly to the organization’s strategic direction and success. Additionally, he held the esteemed position of CEO at Edge Holding in August 2016, where he demonstrated his ability to lead and drive results. Academically, He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Osama Wagih
Chief Executive Officer
With an impressive 23-year tenure in the banking field, Osama Wagih brings a wealth of experience and expertise. As the Chief Executive Officer, He is responsible for formulating and implementing policies that govern the review of customers’ credit histories and the granting or extension of credit lines. In this role, he ensures that creditworthiness assessments are effective, and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. Furthermore, he plays a pivotal role in the efficient collection of outstanding debts, adhering to collection policies and procedures. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, which has provided him with a solid foundation of knowledge in the financial sector.
Ahmed Hussein
Chief Financial Officer
With extensive experience in the accounting field, Ahmed Hussein brings a wealth of knowledge and a diverse background to his role. Throughout his career, he has held various positions in different accounting disciplines, showcasing his versatility and adaptability. Throughout his professional journey, he excelled as a Chief Accounting professional, From 1998 to 2002, and his accounting career commenced in 1994 as an Accountant. Furthermore, he has contributed as a Board Member at Al Borouj Misr for the past three years. Ahmed Hussein holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
